Epic Landscaping Party Raises £4,000 in 11 Days for Industry Charities
A year after it’s launch, The Great Big Landscaping (After) Party returned with a bang at The Cocktail Club in Canary Wharf, London. Organised by market leading industry suppliers Composite Prime & CORE Landscape Products®, the party sold out in 11 days and attracted over 200 Landscapers, Garden Designers & Suppliers from all over the UK.
This year the organisers increased the capacity and hired The Cocktail Club in Canary Wharf exclusively for a full evening from 20:30pm until 02:00am. Guests enjoyed a £10,000 free bar tab all in return for a £20 ticket purchase that was required for entry.
The £20 ticket fee was split equally between two of the industries leading charity partners BALI Chalk Fund & Perennial – Gardeners’ Royal Benevolent Society who both provide much required support and training to hundreds of individuals each year within the Landscaping and Horticulture industry.
Perennial – Gardeners’ Royal Benevolent Society is the UK’s only charity dedicated to helping everyone who works in horticulture, and their families, when times get tough. Perennial provides free and confidential advice, information and support to people working in, or retired from horticulture and their families.
Established in 1975 in memory of BALI founder member Geoffrey Chalk, the BALI Chalk Fund provides funding for skills development across the Landscape industry. To date, the BALI Chalk Fund has facilitated the development of industry training materials and supported land-based colleges by providing trophies for outstanding achievement to students on landscape-related courses.
